Hi all!! Today I have a quick announcement for those who may not follow my Instagram (@raineydaydoodles) :
I'm Making a Webcomic!
The Project is titled "Scales & Strings" and I've been working on it for a little bit now, and began developing it in 2020. The comic will be released in small bits over the year, and possibly beyond that if needed, until it is completed, and will be posted to Webtoon.
The Comic is a mix of Fantasy, Medieval, and Steampunk themes and is intended for All Ages. Below is a brief description of the overall plot:
"When Elf Kipling discovers his grandpa’s lute hidden away for him in the attic, the very lute his family had told him was long gone, he enlists the help of a somewhat nutty inn-owner, Phillipa, who claims her father can fix the lute’s broken string. Only trouble? Her father lives across the country, and since lutes have been banned for 50 years due to their dragon luring qualities, it’s not going to be an easy journey. But maybe fixing the lute’s string is the key to fixing everything else."

I am really excited to finally have a piece in this project finished and can't wait to hear what you all think of it.
Before I go, I wanna quickly let you all know that my next Blog Post will be a big one! I have ordered the Mossery x Sibylline Meynet Gouache Kit, and it will arrive soon! The Kit contains premium quality gouache paints, a sketchbook, guidebooks written by Sibylline herself, and tons of artwork, stickers, and goodies!! I cannot wait to do an unboxing, play around with her guidebook's techniques, and hopefully make a finished piece with the paints! Expect this to be released some time late March or early April.
