Ah!! I've been working on this for a very long time and it's finally ready, I'm so excited to share it with you all! This is something I have wanted for such a long time, basically since I started drawing in 2014. Actually, a few days after I started drawing "for real", I attempted to open up an art blog and an Etsy. That is what we call a big yikes.. I should try and find the drawing I made of myself then. Anyway, this has always been my goal with art and I just feel so happy about accomplishing it! I hope one day to be a commission artist full time, but even if that never happens, i'm happy having a shop so that I can potentially make art for you guys! I've done around 5 commissions before and it is seriously some of the most fun I have with any artwork, I just feel so amazed that people would want to purchase my artwork, and I appreciate it so much!
I'm starting out with 2 types of Commissions, standard, and pet Silhouettes. First lets talk about the Standard Commissions by taking a look at my commission sheet.
This Commission Sheet shows the basic pricing and options for my standard commissions. Please go to my Etsy Shop above to look at the details and see the price increases for additional characters and detailed background. These commissions come with three size options: Portrait, Half Body, and Full Body. To see examples of each size, check out my commission sheet post on my Instagram by clicking on the "Portfolio" section of this blog! You can also take a look at a few of my previous commissions if you scroll back far enough in that section. The fun part about Etsy is that it has a built in chat function where the buyer can talk directly to the seller, which will make it super easy to discuss the details of the commission such as pose, character, etc. You can also send photos through it, so if someone wanted me to use a photo reference, that would also work! And of course, feel free to contact me by email at raineydaydoodles@gmail.com if you have any questions about the commissions or would like to discuss the details of a purchased commission further.
Now its time to take a look at the Pet Silhouette Commissions!
I have been doing these animal silhouettes for friends and family for years, so I thought they would be a perfect addition to the shop! I can of course do dogs and cats, and these commissions are available in lots of different options, such as fonts for the names, background styles, and more. It is recommended for these commissions to attach a photo of the animal you wish me to draw sideways, but not required. If no photo, please specify the breed of dog or cat with me, and know that the portrait may not be entirely accurate to your pet, since I will be going off other animals of the breed and not your exact pet. The best part of these commissions is that, no matter the options you choose, they will ALWAYS be $25! This is a bit of a short post, but I was really excited to announce the shop's opening! I hope you all will enjoy it as much as I do! I'm really looking forward to my first commission! I hope to add more items to the shop in the future, like stickers, original artwork, and more! I know it's been a little while since my last blog post, but I have been working on getting this shop open! I am currently working on the next "Shaping Animation" post, which will discuss the next film in the Disney Golden Age Lineup - Pinocchio! In December, i'll also be posting a review and ranking of all the animated movies I saw during 2019.

I've done it before with the colors blue and green, but this time my followers are helping me to decide between Orange, Purple, and Pink!
